Local Laws

Queensland councils have local laws to protect the community and ensure effective governance within their areas. These laws allow councils to regulate activities, manage public health and safety, and address local issues such as animal control and environmental hazards. 

Wujal Wujal Aboriginal Shire Council uses the Queensland Local Government ‘model’ Local Laws.
