Sorry Business
'Sorry Business’ is an expression used by Aboriginal and and Torres Strait Islander people for a time of mourning in the community.
Out of respect for the Community any meetings previously scheduled for a day that becomes ‘Sorry Business’ will need to be rescheduled.
Council also closes it offices on a day of ‘Sorry Business’.
Visitors and Tourists need to be aware of this when travelling to or through Wujal Wujal.
