Successful Community Learning Day

Loads of fun, and learning, at the Bloomfield River State School Community Learning Day today.

Our Community Recovery and Resilience Officers Linda O'May and Shianne Gibson joined the kids at the Disaster Preparedness 'Get Ready' table where they learned about:
- types of disasters that can occur in Wujal Wujal
- What is an emergency plan, and items we should have ready
- What would we place in our emergency backpack to take with us

For their activity they played with cloudy dough (a type of playdough) to make items that we might need in the emergency kit (water, apple, money, soap).
