Married to Robyn and with five children Councillor Bloomfield is originally from Hopevale, where he completed his schooling.
He has been a strong member of the WujalWujal Community and is well respected in the Community, as evidenced by the fact that this is his third term as Councillor.
He is passionate about education, music (plays the guitar), sports, taking kids camping on country and hunting.
He would like to see all young people in the community undertake traineeships at the Wujal Wujal Aboriginal Shire Council.
He wants to encourage young people to step up, to take ownership and leadership roles within the community.
